Booking and lesson FAQs
Where do tennis lessons take place?
Your coach comes to a court you choose in the Grand Rapids area—such as a home, neighborhood, or public court. Share your preferred location when requesting a lesson. Court access and the final meeting location must be agreed with your coach.
Can beginners or children take lessons?
Yes. X4 Tennis offers lessons for kids and adults, including players who are new to the game. Choose the lesson format and coach that fit your needs.
Is my lesson booked as soon as I request it?
Not yet. Your chosen time is held while the coach reviews the request. Your family dashboard will show Pending until the coach accepts; then it changes to Confirmed.
How do I pay for a lesson?
Prices appear when you choose a lesson. Payment is arranged separately through Venmo rather than charged when you request a time.
Can I add a confirmed lesson to my phone calendar?
Yes. Confirmed lessons include Google Calendar and Apple/Outlook calendar options. You choose your own reminder settings. If the lesson changes, update the event in your personal calendar.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Sign in to My Lessons to review your booking and available change or cancellation options. The coach and family dashboards will show the current booking status.
